Teaches: Hot Vinyasa • Hot Iron Vinyasa • Hot Sculpt
Annelise began meditating and practicing yoga in her early twenties after a therapist recommended them to her as a way to manage her emotional health. The impact was so profound that she went on to earn her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2017 and began sharing yoga with others. This led to an interest in many different kinds of movement, obtaining her personal trainer certification shortly after and becoming a fitness coach as well. Annelise is certified in Yoga with an emphasis on Bhakti, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga, she is also a certified 200-hour Instinctive Meditation Instructor, NASM Personal Trainer, and Barre instructor. Annelise comes to Jaxzen after over a decade in New Orleans, where she taught at Wild Lotus Yoga, Barre3, and Orangetheory—she enjoys teaching and practicing a range of styles!
Annelise brings a grounded, steadfast support to her students so that they may meet and explore their inner lives, intuition, and wisdom freely during class. Annelise approaches her classes with an attitude of fearless curiosity in mind—there is no way to fail when you inquire into your own truth and can grapple compassionately with whatever comes up. Combining her strong technical knowledge of body mechanics with heart-led instruction, she offers her students all the tools and support they may need to feel successful at any level.
Annelise hopes to create a space for her students to unearth, own, and cultivate their personal empowerment—and to take that with them wherever their life may find them.
Annelise enjoys camping, gardening, playing disc golf, knitting and crocheting, and cooking
